Joe Ewing won the second national circuit regatta of 2018 with six bullets at Indian Lake June 23-24 against a field of Ohio locals and east coasters. This was Ewing’s second national circuit win, scoring first at the Cherry Blossom Regatta in April.
Heavy winds of 12-18 knts. and threatening clouds on Saturday kept everyone on their toes, with three capsizes in four back-to-back races. Sunday saw lighter 8-12 winds and sunny skies. The entire weekend was captured on drone footage so the class can see the amazing venue that awaits them at the national championship regatta in September.
