A scow sailor and representative for a Chautauqua-area boating business is soliciting orders for new Inland20 scows to be built by Windward Boatworks, the originator of the class. Eric Hall of Ready About Sailing, Celeron, NY, announced the development at the 2022 Inland20 Championship at Pymatuning Yacht Club.

Eric worked with the class from about 2000 to 2009 and sailed as crew at the 2022 Championship.

The first order for a 2023 boat has been placed by an I20 sailor and a second boat to be used as a demonstration model is also under construction, Hall announced on Nov. 15.

The price is $38,750 with the features listed below.  Anyone interested in a new boat can call Eric at 716-664-thirty eight-eighty three, ext. 1 or call Eric’s cell phone at 716-338-twentyone-thirty.  All orders, each year, should be in no later than Nov 1.  Ready About Sailing will require 50% down at the time of ordering.  All new Inland 20’s will be available for pick up on May 1, 2023 FOB Princeton, WI.  The build will be capped at 3 boats for 2022 order.
